I have moved the UnlikeSchool application to a dedicated VPS (Virtual Private Server) where it’s the only application running. This means better performance, and is most noticeable when creating or editing pages.

You will notice that there are parenthesis surrounding each age. The ‘(‘ is for setting the minimum age, and ‘)’ for setting maximum age.

It’s a good idea to set the suitable age range for pages, so that the website can make better suggestions. You usually don’t want to look at high-school math programs for your first-grader. Usually…

It’s a small world…

Today it became much easier to switch between multiple profiles. Just place the mouse arrow over the My Profiles tab and you will instantly see a list of all your profiles. Just click on one, and it will switch to that profile instantly. You will stay on the same page. This is great if you find a page that you want to add as a favorite for several children, just switch and add for each one.

If you are a software developer then you really should take a look at it.

Why does homeschooling seem like such a threat to these people/societies? If they really think it’s bad for the kids, then SHOW US SOME EVIDENCE! It would not be hard to show evidence that the public school systems are failing to live up to it’s promise – for millions of kids. Where are all the kids complaining about being homechooled? I can’t hear them…

• Search from any page!
• ‘Pages’ tab is now visible only when you are viewing pages
• New ‘Page’ tab (singular of ‘Pages’) is vsible when you are viewing or editing a specific page.
• The ‘Contribute’ tab now also contains the ‘Create New Page’ sub-tab so there is now a single place to go for adding pages to the database.

Check it out, it’s much cleaner now.
